Gablok: the story of an insulated block
The Gablok concept was born from a long-standing fascination for interlocking toy building blocks. Gabriel Lakatos, founder and inventor of the Gablok insulated block, has had over 25 years of experience in the construction industry. In 2019, after obtaining an international patent, Gabriel decided to manufacture and market his invention: the self-build insulated wooden block.

Thanks to the Gablok concept, if you own land in Belgium or Europe, you will henceforth need NO prior building skills and a MINIMAL construction budget to be your own builder. No need for prior building skills with our flat-pack insulated wooden block.
Using only a ladder, a screwdriver, and your project plan, you assemble the components of your flat-pack house on top of each other to form the insulated walls of your future home.
